Extremity Recovery Programs

Introducing Extremity Recovery Programs

A new fully integrated custom wellness plan to restore your joints to health

Do you suffer from painful joints that negatively impact your life? Would you like to avoid surgery?

The extremity recovery program can relieve your pain right now and help you develop long term pain relief strategies.

The extremity recovery multidisciplinary program will help restore the integrity of your joints and improve the quality of your life.

Chiropractic Adjustments and Manipulations

Chiropractors understand that all healing comes from within. So rather than focus on correcting symptoms like pain or stiffness, they focus on the root of the problem; eliminating the barriers that are preventing your body from functioning normally.

Chiropractic adjustments address the root cause of your pain and return the biomechanics of the joint to its normal position and normal range of motion.

Therapeutic Medicine Injections

Therapeutic medicine injections deliver medicine directly to the area, offering instant pain relief. This pain reduction allows the chiropractic manipulations to be deeper and more effective.

Trigger Point Injections: Trigger points are painful areas of muscle associated with thickening of the muscle tissue. Injections can be an anesthetic, steroid solution, or a non-side effect botanical based anti-inflammatory. We will also offer botox injections into muscle groups to relieve spasms and therefore alleviate pain.

Dry Needling: Involves inserting a very fine needle into a trigger point. This relieves pain by allowing the muscle to lengthen and relax again.

Viscosupplementation Injections: Viscosupplementation involves a series of 3-5 treatments using a gel-like substance directly into the knee joint. These gels act as a plumper and lubricant and enable bones to move smoothly over each other. Studies show that these injections may help long-term preservation of the joint and avoidance of surgery.

Arm and Elbow

Is bending your arm to brush your teeth a painful process? We can address the primary causes: Biceps tendinitis, dislocated elbow ("tennis" and "golfers") elbow, ulnar nerve entrapment and elbow bursitis

Soft Tissue Mobilization Treatments

Over-used muscles can result in scar tissue accumulation. This causes the muscles to become shorter and weaker. Scar tissue also creates tendonitis by placing tension on tendons. Nerve entrapment, reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain are more difficult symptoms you may be dealing with. Our providers use various techniques to comb over and break up fibrotic scar tissue, which is then absorbed by the body.

Affordable Payment Options

Many of our patients have medical insurance plans with high deductibles and prefer to self-pay. We have created a number of affordable cash payment options to make self-payment easier. Please refer to our Wellness Brochure for plan specifics.
